Take samples for the microbiological analysis of different locations with normal biota. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The majority of our epithelial tissues are filled with microorganisms that make up the normal flora or biota of the human body. Among other\u00a0 bodily functions, these involve a defense mechanism against the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms seeing as, the latter must compete with the former for this habitat in order to develop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a pharyngeal sample\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docenciamicrobiologia.umh.es\/en\/indice-de-practicas\/10-microbiota-humana\/microbiota-de-faringe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(pharyngeal microbiota)<\/a>\u00a0for microbiological analysis<\/li>\n<li>Take several skin samples (<a href=\"https:\/\/docenciamicrobiologia.umh.es\/en\/indice-de-practicas\/10-microbiota-humana\/microbiota-de-piel\/\">skin\u00a0microbiota<\/a>) preferably from fold areas (retroauricular -behind the ear- navel, interdigital) for microbiological analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Take\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docenciamicrobiologia.umh.es\/en\/indice-de-practicas\/10-microbiota-humana\/toma-de-muestras-de-unas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">samples from the nails<\/a>\u00a0of the lower extremities for microbiological analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Detect the existence of microorganisms in the pharynx, skin and\/or nails of healthy individuals.<\/li>\n<li>Distinguish the presence of one or more different microorganisms by the morphology of the developed colonies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Content: Demonstrate the presence of normal biota associated with human tissue.
